MONSTRELLO is a journey to the world of Monsterland.
Monstrello is a unique dice card game that takes you to the magical world of Monsterland. This world was created based on children’s drawings by Danylo Tomenchuk and is filled with life thanks to the realization of the game’s author Igor Tomenchuk. And also, thanks to the creative approach of the TART design studio.
The game captivates children and adults, combining entertainment with the development of strategic thinking, attention and math skills.
Monsterland: a world filled with fantasy
Monsteroland is a magical land inhabited by monsters (monstrello) created from original children’s drawings. Each character is a unique hero with its own story, name, and individual traits.
Monsters belong to three elements: Earth, Air, and Water, which form the balance of the game’s ecosystem. Their characteristics, such as predation, size, and speed, determine who will win each competition.
The game includes 30 character cards (10 for each element) and 3 bonus cards for each element. The cube adds an element of surprise, determining which characteristic will be the key in the round.
TART’s role in creating the brand
TART design studio played an important role in the development and launch of the Monstrello brand, creating a harmonious visual style that conveys the magic and creativity of the game.
1. Logo development. The Monstrello logo has become the bright face of the brand. Simple geometric shapes and bright colors convey the energy and joy of the game. The centerpiece of the logo is a stylized image of a monster, which consists of geometric elements that visualize the main characteristics of the game’s characters.
2. Packaging design. Monstrello packaging is a window into the world of fantasy. TART Studio helped to create, adapt and select high-quality and “expensive”, exciting packaging that immediately attracts attention. The box features the game title and elements of characterization signs.
3. Character visualization. Monstrello has a unique aesthetic thanks to the detailed work of TART studio on the visualization of monsters for the MONSTRELLO+ version of the game. Also, the studio digitized and painted the characters based on children’s drawings. All characters are digitalized children’s drawings preserved in their authentic style. The bright colors, original shapes, and animated spirit of each monster make them players’ favorites.
4. Game experience. Everything from the cards and dice to the development of the rules is created with an emphasis on player comfort and enjoyment. The images of monsters on the cards are complemented by intuitive characteristic markings, making the game easy for children and interesting for adults at the same time.
