Development of the TSENYAVA logo

The logo for the village of Tsenyava, Kolomyya district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, was designed for free by the TART – Branding & Promotion studio.
This is a social project of the studio – a contribution to the development of culture, education, family and national values of the local community.
Tsenyava is pronounced in the people – Tseniv.
The first mention of the village in written sources dates back to 1714.
There are several versions regarding the founding of the village and its name.
- After the Union of Brest in 1596, Poland and the Catholic Church intensified their aggressiveness towards the population of Galicia, sending their priests and settlers to different parts of the region. Such settlements at the end of the 16th century. arrived on the territory where the modern village is located. They liked the land and the area and declared: “This is our field.” (Price – Price – Price).
- The lands on which the present village is located belonged to Kolomyia and were called “city tract”. In the first half of the 17th century, by order of Count Yosyp Pototsky, a farm was built on these lands and peasants from Kornych and Sopov were settled. The first settlers were Fedir Veryga from Kornych and Hryhoriy Tomenchuk from Sopov. Yosyp Potocki called these lands his own: “These are my fields.” The name of the village came from this expression.
NIVA – the meaning of the word.
A plot or strip of land on which grain crops grow or which is intended for their cultivation; field.
EVERYONE HAS HIS OWN LEVEL.
Each of us is a grain from our ear and our field…

How does it work?
A local logo (for a city, village, or a specific area) is usually used to visually represent and identify a given area as a unique entity with its own history, culture, attributes, customs, community, and values.

Here are some of the functions and purposes of such a logo:
- Local branding. A logo creates a specific visual style that helps build a unique image of a given area and its community. It can reflect key attributes of a territory or community, such as its cultural features, natural beauty, historical heritage, etc.
- Advertising and tourism. The visual element of the logo helps to attract attention and be remembered, which is important for popularization among tourists, business partners and investors.
- Creating community. A logo can be a symbol of unity for the people of the area, helping them feel part of a single community.
- Increasing patriotism. The use of a logo can increase patriotic feelings among the residents of a given area, as it becomes a visual symbol of their belonging.
- Organizational identification. The logo can be used on various levels, including official documents, websites, signage, and other items on souvenir products.
- Symbolism and protection against plagiarism. The logo can be used as a symbolic means to identify official materials and products of the area, as well as a means of protection against plagiarism and illegal use.
Therefore, the logo of an area plays an important role in creating recognition, promoting tourism, increasing patriotic feelings and economic development, as well as reflecting the identity and character of the community.

The development is dedicated to all relatives, friends and loved ones from the Tseniava village community.
